Mansfields Design - Case study

Enhancing marketing activity

How Mansfield helped put Jaguar in the limelight

The Client

Mansfields has a century of design tradition behind it. Far from its early days of designing railway posters, the Basildon-based company now has a high-tech role in the 21st century. Among its activities are highly sophisticated product launches utilising the latest in multi-media techniques. Clients include local authorities and major car companies.

The Brief
Mansfields Design was embarking on its first-ever marketing campaign and commissioned Words Worth to prepare a series of press releases and case studies highlighting not only the current crop of high-profile work but also the huge amount of demanding preparation that is required for today’s product launches. The overall aim is to attract clients in new markets.

Words Worth’s PR campaign is based on communicating Mansfields’ activities in conferences, conventions and exhibitions to the trade press. Additional coverage in local media boosts employee morale and helps with recruitment and retention.

The Result
The strategy was highly successful in promoting Mansfields’ wide range of skills to a wider audience and, combined with an allied marketing campaign conducted in-house, brought in new pitch opportunities for the client.
