We aim to put something back

At Words Worth we all share the belief that, as well as commitment to our clients, it is important to put something back into the community in which we live and operate. For some years Words Worth freely gave staff time and office equipment use to produce a regular newsletter for St Luke's Hospice, Basildon.

Adrienne Lowing has for many years been a member of the Board of South West Essex Business Partnership which works to bring the world of commerce and education together. Last year she became a Trustee of Home-Start Maldon. Home-Start is a charity which supports families with young children in the Maldon and Dengie district.

Graham Lowing edits the Parish magazine of St Thomas' Church in Bradwell on Sea. He is a Gold blood donor and once a month attends the Brentwood Blood Donor Centre to donate platelets for patients who are unable to make enough platelets in their bone marrow. For example, patients with leukaemia or other cancers may have too few platelets as the result of their disease or treatment.
Jane Turner is a volunteer with the national charity Parentlineplus. Parentlineplus operates a 24-hour helpline to support anyone with parenting concerns and Jane spends time answering calls at the Parentline headquarters in Hadleigh, Essex.
Words Worth are corporate members of Essex Wildlife Trust and have assisted this worthwhile charity and guardians of the environment by using our skills to publicise its activitites.
